Too many children over the world grow up in neighborhoods (barrios) that offer little to no opportunities to jump to the Middle Class. Despite the good works, the anti-poverty industry is not able to do more than soften the sharp edges of the problem. IkoCiti is a venture that attempts to design a breakthrough; we want to more than soften the rough edges. We want to re-imagine new and workable solutions.
As the founder, I have put in the work. As of May 2024, the details of the venture are described in 500.000+ words. It is all there but - unfortunately - not organized in a way that outsiders could go to work tomorrow. In other words, still more work to do.
Phase I. Founder details the first draft design of IkoCiti.
Phase II. A small group of smart co-founders improve the design; create more awareness for IkoCiti, and get the project funded.
Phase III. IkoCiti is built.
Phase IV. IkoCiti runs different deals in the reconaissance mission mode
Phase V. IkoCiti has proven concept and scales the operations.
The role of the original founder is to manage phases I and II but to step back from phase III and let more capable people build IkoCiti further.
